Dr Caryn Zinn is the lead instructor on this course. Caryn is an NZ Registered Dietitian and academic at AUT University. She has over 20 years of consulting experience as a dietitian and is the managing director of her nutrition and lifestyle consultancy practice. She has co-authored three best-selling books and is an internationally-recognised leader and advocate in intermittent fasting and whole food, LCHF nutrition approach.

Can I go at my own pace?
Yes you can as long as you complete the course before Jan 30th 2019. This course opens on Dec 1, 2018. You will have two months to complete the course (one month longer than usual) as it includes the Christmas holiday period.
Is this course accredited by NZQA?
Not yet. We are currently in the process of applying for a L4 NZQA accreditation.
Do I get life-time access to the course materials?
No. However each module comes with extensive notes that you can download.

What happens after I finish the course?
If you would like to achieve your Certificate in Health Coaching then you need to complete 5 out of the 6 prescribed courses. We recommend completing PK101: Behaviour Change. The Science & Practice if you haven't already.

I am a nurse, does this course counts towards my CPD credits?
Yes. This course would count as 20 hours.
How long will it take to complete?
Approx 12 -20 hours. The course consists of 6 x 60 minute modules. Each module then requires a further 60 -90 minutes of reading and/or reflective practice.
Do I have to be a Health Coach or PT to do this course?
No. This course is perfect if you are looking to upskill yourself in the area of nutrition for your own benefit.
How do I know this course is credible and contains correct information?
This course is scientifically-based with full academic references provided for all materials. The course is taught by registered dietitian - Dr Caryn Zinn and Professor of Public Health - Grant Schofield, both of who are well-qualified and credible within the industry.

Yes. You will receive 12.5 continuing professional development (CPD) points for completing this course.
